From the formal garden the sound of rushing water can be heard. Water crashes over a series of high waterfalls down a rocky ravine, through the rocky banks of a wooded garden.

Il me semble entendre le bruit de l'eau. Une photo très rafraîchissante.
Brian Walbey: It was nice and quiet apart from the sound of the water.

How refreshing this would be in the present hot weather. Near the tearoom?
Brian Walbey: Indeed it would Alan. Yes not very far from the tearoom.
Just looking at this, Brian, has a lovely cooling effect on the senses during these hot sticky days we've been experiencing.
Brian Walbey: Indeed it does Beverly, this stream was tumbling down the side of one of our Lake District mountains and apart from its sound it was a lovely quiet place to be.
