'Scene' At Hawkshead Village 2/7

Those of you of English descent will be aware of the stories of Beatrix Potter and there is a lot of tourist places to visit and see in the area including this fine little shop in the centre of the village. Strangely enough her children’s books never appealed to me when I was young.

I remember visiting this place a few years ago Brian. It looks like they want to hide their gutteridge.
Brian Walbey: Indeed it does Chad, but here's a tip, wait till Thursday and you might be surprosed.
I can't stand the books but Joseph likes them and at the moment The flopsy bunnies is his favourite. I almost know it by heart!
Brian Walbey: I wasn't entertained by them at all but I did have nearly all the Noddy books. Our kids didn't seem that enthralled either but then there was the Mr.Men to read to them.
I was not crazy about her either.

Oh, I like the tales about Peter Rabbit - and the Asian people who like to visit the Lake District are fans of Beatrix Potter. I see this house for the first time on your blog.
Brian Walbey: For some reason I never got intersted by the Beatrix Potter books when I was a child, I did enjoy the Enid Blyton ones though.
I never read them either.
Brian Walbey: Thomas the Tank Engine and Noddy were more to my taste.
it's a cute little shop Brian... i'm sure that Maureen had a ball in there....petersmile
Brian Walbey: Thankfully she didn't go in Peter smile
