Staunton Harold Revisited 7/7

We often, among us on SC., post pictures of trees, especially in winter when they have lost all their foliage. As I walked along one of the footpaths I came across this pair of trees and envisaged this picture before I took it, I like to think it came out just as I imagined.

I love to make images something like this, Brian, but rarely show them on SC.
Brian Walbey: Then you should show them Ray, you have quite a repertoire of styles and it would be nice to see this style.
It's a really wonderful photo, Brian- I love it in B&W!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth. We have a professional lady photographer coming to my club later this month http://www.valeriedalling.com/ and we have been asked to bring along a picture and talk about why we took it and how we visualised the final image to turn out and she will comment and offer advice, I have put this one forward.
Quel magnifique arbre !
Brian Walbey: Isn't it lovely.

I often visualise the final result when I take a shot, Brian...It doesn't always work though smile I do like this though.

Beautiful examples, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom.
What a glorious tree! IT has fine bones.

I like it, the branches of the trees seem to want to cling to the sky.
