I love those flowers! What a nice park!
Brian Walbey: It doesn't seem tog et used a lot, apart from the area at the other end which is a very good childrens playground, although the town holds a big fete in the park on our Bank Holiday Monday at the end of August when it is heaving with people.

The beds are so well tended
Brian Walbey: Our town council is spending our money very wisely keeping the park in such fine condition.

Jolies couleurs pour les parterres de fleurs.
Brian Walbey: The fkowers were just at their best when I took these photos.
A fine big Cordyline in that one bed Brian
Brian Walbey: yes it ias, although I didn't know what it's called so thanks for that.
You don't need sun to have gardens look beautiful. Gorgeous!
Brian Walbey: I quite agree Mary, as long as it doesn't rain it is there to enjoy.
Nice flower beds!

I still have account problems and have heard nothing from SC about it - most frustrating.
Brian Walbey: It is a well looked after park Tom, well done to our town council. John at SC is supposed to be working on the problem I have with the comments etc.being treated as spam from myself, Chris and Philine that you mentioned a while back, I suspect they have limited resources staff wise, indeed I wonder how it can still be a going concern with the small number of people who seem to be posting these days.

It's good that the Council still has the money to spend on the flowers. A very attractive display.
Brian Walbey: One of the better things our town council does Alan, in general they are a fairly good council, it is the levels aboce at Charnwood Borough and Leicestershire County who both have loads of staff on 'silly money' salaries who seem to have no idea of how to control income and expenditure, but then having spent most of my working life in private industry (Hanson) I'm more aware of the need to control the accounts in a sensible fashion.
i think the not so sunny helps to show more details in the trees and the colours in the flowers, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Indeed Ayush, what ever the weather, apart from rain and snow, it is a delightful park to be in.
