Clumber Park is a country park in the Dukeries near Worksop in Nottinghamshire. It was the seat of the Pelham-Clintons, Dukes of Newcastle. It is owned by the National Trust and open to the public. The park is listed Grade I on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. After our hotel break in October we called in for a few hours at the park, sadly, as this picture shows, it wasn’t the best of days, just like most of our breaks last year!
