Stunning image, Brian.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Ray.
Oh some nice rust there!
Brian Walbey: Unfortunately these were in a fanced off area so I couldn't get up close.
The ghosts of Christmases past, Brian???
Brian Walbey: Very much so Ginnie, sad to see them like this.

You will see the potential here, Brian
Brian Walbey: I fear they will never be fully restored, this heritage railway is not awash with funds like some of the larger ones.

Very interesting, I'd like to know exactly what they've got stored there
Brian Walbey: They've got a lot of locos, steam and diesel, in this sort of state of repair, i fear they haven't enough funds to do much restoration work.

Hard to imagine the work needed to restore these to their glory Brian.

They are going to take some work!

What the heck is all this rusty stuff? Ah ha, trains.
Brian Walbey: It's rather sad to see them in this condition, I suspect they will never be repaired.

Also beyond restoration I feel now. The chimney should not take too much effort, though, I would have thought. Do these boilers belong to the cabs in the background?
Brian Walbey: I presume they belong to the frames in the background, but I'm inclined to agree with you that they may well never be restored.

Ouch, that is a lot of steel un-used. LOVE the rust and the shapes. Look at those 'nails'..
Too bad for the lack of funds to restore these.
Brian Walbey: This railway is one of the 'not so rich' ones so i can't imagine these will be restored in a hurry.
Impressive! The memory of what had once been progress.
