I like this, Brian, but it feels a little bit cramped on the right margin.
Brian Walbey: I won't argue with that Ray, I seem tor ecall there was something unwanted there so I just managed to crop it out but still just about keep the main body of the church in. At least it got me H/C.
very nice. i wonder if you also have a landscape orientation of this scene, Brian.
Brian Walbey: I could do a landscape image but off picture to the right is something I don't want in the picture, hence this orientation and the tight crop.
A very nice POV, here, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, just North of the Yorkshire resort of Whitby, perhaps Frank will take you there one day when you are over here, you would love Whitby.

I like the compassion here very much. I think the portrait format works well in this case.

I think we have enjoyed your Mock Tudor Magic image here at previous time?
Brian Walbey: Thansk Alan. You have seen mock Turdor Magic before, I might use that again for another competition in November.

A fine sense of depth here Brian. I also like the way you have conveyed the sense of the slope up to the church.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad, it is a very interesting church, I think I posted a series about it a long time ago.

Nice angle to take the picture Brian
Brian Walbey: It seems to work this way, there is something off to the right I wanted to exclude.
I want to go see it, Brian. smile
Brian Walbey: Just up the road from Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast, but sadly a long way from Bath et al.

I like this perspective- the headstones are orientated to the church.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Philine, everything is facing East, as they should.

At least the pall bearers only have to carry downhill. A great perspective in this picture. Your Mock Tudor is a winner as far as I am concerned.
Brian Walbey: I had that thought when I was there, it is quite a steep hill. I will be using Mock Tudor again in an Architecture competition in November.
I prefer the picture that came second to the winner Brian.
Brian Walbey: To be honest so do I Bill.
