Brancaster Staithe 1/7

Brancaster Staithe is a village on the North coast of Norfolk and this series was all taken at the beach close to the village. The beach is mainly comprised of a wide sandy beach and dunes behind. This is looking more or less westward.

What a beautiful beachscape, Brian!
Brian Walbey: Thanks Elizabeth, this is the part of Norfolk worth visiting although with the hot weather we've curently got this would have been packed ober the weekend.
The lack of people adds to the appeal Brian
Brian Walbey: Bet it wasn't like that over the weekend.

It looks as if you had the place all to yourselves Brian
Brian Walbey: Almost Chris, bet it wasn't like that over the weekend.
I bet it's heavily populated these hot days, Brian?!
Brian Walbey: I'm sure it would have been over the weekend, then it wouldn't be so nice as far as we are concerned.

Quelle plage magnifique. J'aime lorsqu'elles sont grandes comme celle-ci.
Brian Walbey: This is how we like our beaches, not many other people about.

Hard to think that there could be such desolate beaches in the UK. Beautiful.
Brian Walbey: There are plenty about like this right round the coast Louis, away from the big resorts, this is how Maureen and I like our beaches to be.
Superb panorama Brian, you got all the details in too.
Brian Walbey: Thanks Chad, another one tomorrow looking the other way.

It looks like it goes on for ever. No shade either from the blistering heat, either.
Brian Walbey: I bet this beach was heaving with folks over the weekend, how awful!
Love the gold of the sand. I notice the vertical stripes in the sky. Would that be the way the sky was or something with the camera.
Brian Walbey: It is a lovely beach to be on when there aren't many other people about. I've had the image up full screen on my monitor, I think the stripes you mention are some sort of optical illusion.
Lovely shot, Brian
Brian Walbey: Thanks Tom, Norfolk how we like it.

My kind of beach.long walks and nobody to be seen. Love this view.
Brian Walbey: Our kind of beach also Astrid, although I bet it was crowded over the hot weekend.
